ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
At Layer Dental, we are continuously working to improve the accessibility of content on our website. We want all visitors to have a comfortable and accessible browsing experience.
Below, you’ll find a few recommendations to help make your browsing experience more accessible.
If you have trouble seeing web pages, the following options may help you optimize your computer and browser:
- Use the keyboard to navigate your browser
- Increase text size
- Magnify your screen (Windows only)
- Magnify your screen (macOS only)
- Change background and text colors
- Make your mouse pointer more visible and easier to use (Windows only)
- Make your mouse pointer more visible (macOS only)
Voice Recognition Controls
If you are looking for mouse and keyboard alternatives, speech recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking may help you navigate web pages and online services.
This software allows users to move focus around a web page or application screen through voice controls.
If you are deaf or hard of hearing, there are also accessibility features available to support your browsing experience.
Website Readers
If you are visually impaired, website-reading software can help read website content aloud.
Tools such as ChromeVox, an extension for the Google Chrome browser, may assist with accessing online content.
Other screen readers are also available for different computer operating systems (OS), providing more universal accessibility beyond website browsing.
Closed Captioning
Closed captioning provides a transcript of the audio track of a video presentation, synchronized with the video and audio.
Captions are generally displayed over the video and benefit people who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as anyone who cannot hear audio clearly due to noisy environments.
Most of our video content includes captions. You can learn how to turn captioning on and off through YouTube’s accessibility settings.
Volume Controls
Your computer, tablet, or mobile device has built-in volume control features. Individual video and audio services may also offer additional volume settings.
We recommend adjusting both your device’s volume controls and your media player’s volume controls to optimize your listening experience.
Contact Us
If the recommendations above do not meet your accessibility needs, or if you experience difficulties accessing any content on our website, please contact Layer Dental directly.
We welcome your feedback and will make reasonable efforts to assist you.
